We recently spent the day with St John Ambulance learning about the practical approach that can be taken to help people in a workplace spot the signs of a person experiencing a mental health issue. We learnt that mental health issues are much more common than a lot of people think, but there are ways of responding effectively to situations that may arise.
As one of the United Nation’s goals for sustainable development, we are committed to doing what we can to ensure the good health and wellbeing of our colleagues. This includes being proactive about mental health.
St John Ambulance’s course is brilliant. It got all of us thinking about the importance of mental health and wellbeing. We would like to offer a huge thank you to Kurtis and the rest of the St John Ambulance team.
