We are delighted to announce the arrival of two new engineers at SLPE, Will White and Rhys Williams.
Our Senior Engineer position has been filled by Will White. Will has joined us following eight years with Atkins (SNC Lavalin) working as a Senior Engineer. He has over eight years’ experience in the offshore industry, the last four years of which have been spent in offshore wind carrying out structural design, analysis, and tool development. He has significant experience in grouted connection design, as well as primary and secondary steel design.
Our Engineer I position has been filled by Rhys Williams. Rhys has joined us following two years with Wood Thilsted working as an Engineer. He has two years’ experience designing offshore wind farm foundations. His experience includes civil design of secondary structures, aeroelastic loads analysis, concept feasibility studies, and the development of tools for tracking project sustainability.
“It is always a pleasure welcoming new starters to our team”, said Joe Hilton, Managing Director of SLPE. “I am pleased both Will and Rhys have a strong affinity with sustainable development, which is one of our core values at SLPE. Between them, they are bringing an additional 10 years of engineering experience to our already accomplished team, and I am looking forward to the impact I am sure they will both make.
“SLPE has grown exponentially in the last few years, in both size and industry know-how. With these latest new hires, we will continue to deliver exceptional results and progress in our ambition to engineer a sustainable future through innovative design and technology”.
Welcome aboard, Will and Rhys.
